Growing up in Mexico, I developed a state of mind where family and friends are at the forefront of everything. As early as I can remember, tacos were at the center of some of the greatest times of my life; surrounded by great people, sharing stories, and making memories.

Whether the tacos came from the great Don Chuy (rest his soul), or we crammed our whole crew in Pepe's VW Brasilia and went to Guadalajara for life changing Shrimp Tacos- it never failed to amaze me what a corn tortilla filled with a little love could do. It was the common denominator that connected the people in my life. 

Fast forward some years later, back in Cleveland, I found myself surrounded by my life partner, our incomparable friends and family, sipping on a little thing called Bourbon. The familiar sense of a common connection swept through me. It was amazing what a simple thing like fermented corn could do! 

That evening on the porch, the concept of Tacos and Bourbon rooted itself in me.

SIG Tacos food truck is the first official installment of sharing this with our community. We want SIG to warm your heart and fill your soul, share that feeling with your friend - parent - or a stranger you happen to be seated next to.
